Best Wishes on your effort to adopt Chi!!!! Her details are below.

Details.

This is my version of the stunning Chi, sculpted by Bonnie Sieben.

She is produced and poured by Maria Lynn Grover and her hair has been rooted by Lazara Brito.

Chi is 22-inches and 11pounds. She is poured in Soft Blend silicone. She has beautiful 20mm brown German glass eyes and tiny rooted lashes just in the corners of her eyes.

Chi also comes with an opened mouth, complete with upper gums and a tongue. I took out her tongue, painted it and the inside of her mouth with lots of detail, and then re-sealed it back into her mouth. She can take a standard preemie or newborn pacifier.

I've added armatures to her arms. Gentle bending must be used.

Chi's gorgeous, thick head of dark brown hair has been rooted by the magnificent Lazara Brito. Hours and hours have been spent on her hair. She is micro rooted with beautifully soft and straight mohair.

I've made her eyebrows a combination of hand applied and painted hair. A true work of realistic art.

Chi has been painted by me, KrisC, from The Dainty Loft. I have worked hard to learn and achieve the best paint techniques out there. I use only the very best silicone paints. With this amazing paint, I have given her a beautiful newborn skin tone with mottling and subtle veins. Every inch of her has been painted, made to look like a breathing baby. Tiny details and dewy touches give this little girl a spectacular look. Even her nails have incredible detail.

With a final layer of matting, her skin is not shiny or glossy like some silicones. Her matting is STUNNING and she has the softest, silkiest skin EVER! All of this is an EXTREMELY time-consuming process and is difficult to achieve this look. Everything you see on this little girl is unique to him. This makes her one of a kind.

She wears newborn and 0-3 month clothes. All the outfits you see in the pictures travel with her. Some are vintage pieces. The knitted set is from Oms' Knits (my grandmother). She will also arrive with a pacifier, blanket, toy, COA.

Photos have been taken at different times of the day, with two different cameras. Natural and daylight bulb light.

I do not take on custom work. So if you love her, do not hesitate to bid now. Once she is gone, she cannot be replicated.

Blank kits are available for purchase here: https://marialynndolls.com/chi-kit

Elliot by Izzy Zhao

This baby is one of celebration.

HUGE CELEBRATION!!!

As many of you know we pour and cast for MacPherson Arts & Crafts. They have been our exclusive company for the last year and a half. Most wonderful company ever and we love them to death,

But Izzy Zhao asked if we would pour and produce her CLAY head into a Silicone Cuddle Edition. An honor and such an incredible opportunity but also a very serious responsibility I stressed about. We mold off vinyl...not clay. This was a chapter we were not experienced in.

But she believed in us and now we have ELLIOT!

I couldn't be more proud!!!!

And to top this DELIGHTFUL cake off I was asked to do the Prototype!!!!

Here is

Elliot

Of course, I had to see what an Ellie would look like...

Auction for Silicone Lilly Lou by Marita Winters

This is an auction for Lilly Loo.

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10159448445126103&type=3

Details on Lilly Lou:

This sweet little one was sculpted by the magnificent Marita Winters.

She is produced by MacPherson Arts and Crafts. Blank kits can be purchased here: https://macphersoncrafts.com/online-store/doll-kits-by-sculptor/marita-winters/lilly-loo-silicone-by-marita-winters-1.htm?lang=en-GB

Lilly Lou has been molded and cast in silicone Ecoflex 20 by The Dainty Loft Molding and painted and brought to life by me, Kristie Carwithen. I have loved every minute of creating this baby and I truly hope you love her like I do!

She weighs approx. 16 oz or 1 pound (without tummy plate) and is 10 inches long. Her head circumference is 20cm.

She has a cloth body. She is weighted with polyfil, pellets and a few steel shots to make her heavier. I've understuffed her for posing and is very floppy.

I have hand sewn around her limbs to make them fit my preference. Her limbs have rings on them so they rotate with ease.

Lilly Loo has been painted with great detail, right down to her tiny tiny little finger and toenails! I've matted her with a silky soft matte and kissable finish.

Her detachable little tummy plate is made of Ecoflex20 silicone and I've made a tiny umbilical stump on her belly button.

She has lovely doe brown eyes and I've hand-painted her brows and her hair. This is the first time I've painted hair on silicone and it is darling!

Her mouth is slightly open and she can take her bottle (her mouth doesn't open wide or go deep).

I think Lilly Lou can either be a boy or girl and her new mommy can let me know at the end of the auction which gender she would prefer and I'll assemble her wardrobe accordingly. Lilly Lou will come with all the outfits you see in the picture according to gender. Included will be a bottle, toy, blanket and care instructions.

Lilly Lou is the absolute sweetest ever. I love her to pieces and I know her new Mommy will feel the very same. With Hugs, Kristie Carwithen

Poe ~ sculpted by ME

'Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.' ~ JFK

I have always wished I could sculpt. I watched my close friends sculpt these most incredible babies and I swooned over the idea that I could one day do it too.

The moment clay was put into my hands I knew immediately..... I am not a natural talent. It was as foreign to me as having claws for hands with dirt to sculpt and it felt like there was no hope for me. I tried and tried to make something resemble human out of a lump and it just didn't work.

It reminded me of the feeling of when I draw... if you ask me to draw a tree or a cup or a car from memory, my work looks very child-like. But if I have a picture in front of me and you just give me time, I actually can replicate an image quite well. But nothing on the fly and nothing out of memory.

I was taught to draw a certain way as a child.

And I did need to be taught when it came to sculpting... and there is a story behind my start with clay and my teacher... a story I will forever treasure and will be forever grateful for.

She taught me how to really look at something to recreate it and when the lightbulb finally went on,  I suddenly understood a concept that was so incomprehensible seconds before. My Ah-ha moment felt like pure joy.

I will not say that this made sculpting not hard. My gosh, it is so hard.

But it did allow me to sculpt Poe.

Poe took me two years to complete. Does that give testament to how difficult I find sculpting?

I have recorded step by step my work on him here

https://thedaintyloft.blogspot.com/p/sculpt-three.html

And with great pleasure and ultimate satisfaction, I give you

POE

Poe is about 10-11" and will be made into silicone. He has 1/4th arms and full legs.

I don't know yet if I will make him an edition or a kit or even sell him at all....  but I do know, for now, I love him and I feel very blessed to be able to finally get to share him with you.

So I have decided to try and make Poe a silicone edition.

Here is the molding of him:

Silicone Edition Poe

I am so thrilled to present to you my very first edition ~
Poe

Poe is about 10" long.
He has a silicone head, full legs that go to the hip and quarter limbs. I chose this combo for its incredible pose-ability.
He has been sculpted by me and molded and poured by my husband, Kelly.
Poe is made in Ecoflex 20 and is very soft.

My plans are to make 10 numbered, completed babies with the option of 5 artist proofs. If the completed edition goes well I may consider making him into blanks but that is undetermined and won't be an option until the edition is sold out.

Poe will travel with his outfit, diaper, bottle and travel carrier. All have been handmade by me, special for him and his new Mommy.

I would love to thank everyone for their incredible love and support and encouragement in the long journey of making Poe. I hope he brings as much joy to his new Mommies as he has to me.
