And brought to life by me, Kristie Carwithen.
This little boy is a one of a kind, the Artist Proof and Prototype. Simply UNIQUE!!!
Fresh in the hospital
Buddy is a full bodied silicone baby boy. His body is made of super soft Eco 20 silicone and his head is poured in Eco 30. He has superior armatures in his arms so that they can be easily posed straight or cuddled to his body.
He is approximately 20 inches long.
Buddy's head is ball jointed and can be rotated with ease. When picked up his head must be supported.

Buddy has been painted in a most unique way.
I have studied the art of prosthetic painting and have worked hard to learn and achieve the best paint techniques out there. I use only the very best silicone paints. In my silicone painting journey, I have learned that even though I can make my paint as permanent as it can be, paint or matting on silicone dolls can be rubbed off if rubbed too hard or too often. They are not vinyl dolls and should not be handled as such. Their paint is still delicate and should be treated and touched with care.

Buddy has been painted in a beautiful newborn skin tone with mottling and very subtle veins. Every inch of him has been painted, made to look like a breathing baby.
Tiny details and dewy touches give this little boy a spectacularly REAL look. Even his nails have incredible detail!!!
With a final layer of matting,
Buddy's
skin is not shiny or glossy like most silicones.
His matting is STUNNING and he has the softest, silkiest skin EVER!
All of this is an EXTREMELY time consuming process and is difficult to achieve this look.
Everything you see on this little boy is unique to him. This makes him a one of a kind.
I am a bit of a novice when it comes to rooting so I have left Buddy Bald. But lets face it, he has the most perfect baby head and bald is beautiful and oh so newborn!
He does have wispy rooted lashes.
His eyebrows have also been delicately painted to look real and wispy like a newborns.

Buddy's mouth has a tongue and gums. He can take a regular pacifier.
Frequent in and out of a pacifier can rub the paint or silicone at the mouth, causing it to peel. Please be mindful of this.
Buddy also has a magnet in his tummy for his magnetic umbilical cord. I have hand made this umbilical cord and although its not perfect, I will include it in the auction.
I would like to say that this baby is made to my interpretation of a newborn. He is not fashioned after anyone else's creation nor is she meant to look like anything manufactured. Silicone babies are handmade items and really one of a kind. Each one is different and may have, what some may consider, slight imperfections here or there. I do not consider this a flaw, I consider it a piece of art, original to the baby you see now.
Handmade items are made with love and originality. Therefore, your baby will be unique and genuinely one of a kind for only your arms.

I am no longer doing any more customs.
