Sculpt One

Here I am just blocking in 

The eyes needed to come out more.

I am told, as you build the eyes, it will soften the eyebrow.

Hours flew by.

When sculpting an hour goes by in a blink. 

Because of everything else in my schedule, I will leave sculpting for night time.

I do not do eyes well. I struggle with them more than I would ever have bet money on. I dont see them like I do a nose or mouth. I think I will fight with this for a long time.

Next lesson is to make eyes softer into the brow. Instead of them looking like little almonds.

I thought he was pretty cute here.

But then I got carried away and hate it and decided I needed to start again

And in the end was so frusterate I did this!

Ok so lets try again

I was told not to smoosh if frusterated.. lol... lesson learned. Back to the drawing board.

I think he's actually pretty cute.

So at this point I was told to even things out... which I ended up just adding more and more clay and then he started getting too big in the cheeks and losing his look...

But then he got EARS!!! I like doing ears!

Then he REALLY CHANGED

So now I dont like him anymore and now he will go on a shelf and I will try a new one.

See... I am learning.
